About the review
Independent evidence about academic quality and standards
Caspian School of Academics is committed to improving the learning opportunities and wider experience available to its students.
The Quality and Standards Review was conducted by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), acting as the Designated Quality Body in England. It provided evidence to the Office for Students as part of the School’s application for registration.
Expert assessors considered whether the School’s planned approach met the relevant core practices of the UK Quality Code for Higher Education. The review visit took place on 30 November and 1 December 2022, and the report was published in July 2023.
Published outcomes
Every assessed core practice was met
The assessment team reviewed standards, educational quality, student support, engagement, complaints and professional outcomes. All 12 applicable core practices assessed in the report were judged to be met.
Context: The admissions core practice (Q1) was judged as met with a low degree of confidence because the School had not yet recruited students at the time of the review. The other 11 assessed practices were judged as met with a high degree of confidence. Read the published report for the full findings and context.
Scope of the review
What the assessment considered

Educational quality
Admissions, course design and delivery, qualified staff, facilities, learning resources and student support services.
