Access Your Courses
Open your enrolled courses and view teaching materials, presentations, recordings and learning resources.
Manage Assessments
Review assessment briefs, check deadlines and submit work through Moodle or Turnitin where enabled.
Receive Updates
Keep up to date with announcements, course information and important messages from your teaching team.
Join Learning Activities
Take part in forums, quizzes and other interactive activities provided within your modules.
View Grades and Feedback
Access grades and tutor feedback after they have been released for an assessment or learning activity.
Learn on the Go
Use a computer, tablet or mobile device to access selected activities wherever you have a suitable connection.
How to Sign In
Use your Caspian School account to access the VLE. Keep your login details private and only save them on a secure personal device.
Your VLE address
Always check that the address bar shows the official Caspian School VLE domain before entering your details.
Visit csavle.ukOpen the VLE
Go directly to https://csavle.uk using a current web browser.
Enter Your Details
Use your Caspian School email address, such as your student ID followed by @caspianschool.ac.uk, and your Moodle password.
Select Log In
Check your details carefully, then select Log in to open your dashboard and enrolled courses.
Protect Your Account
Sign out when using a shared device and never share your password with another person.
Download the Official Moodle App
Scan the appropriate QR code with your phone camera, or select the download button for your device.
Android
Install the official Moodle app on an Android phone or tablet from Google Play.
Download on Google PlayiPhone and iPad
Install the official Moodle app on an iPhone or iPad from the Apple App Store.
Download on the App StoreOpen Moodle
Launch the official app and choose the option to connect to a Moodle site.
Enter the Site
Type https://csavle.uk as the site address and continue.
Sign In
Enter your Caspian School email address and Moodle password.
Set Notifications
Choose whether to receive course, message and activity notifications.
Using Moodle for Assessments
Follow the instructions shown within your module and allow enough time to upload and check your work before the deadline.
- Read the complete assessment brief and submission instructions.
- Confirm the required file type, naming format and deadline.
- Check that the correct file has uploaded successfully.
- Retain the submission confirmation or receipt where available.
Need Help Accessing Moodle?
Check that you are using the correct VLE address and login details. If you have forgotten your Moodle password, use the password-recovery option. For course-content questions, contact your tutor or department office.
