Accessibility statement

Our commitment to making caspianschool.ac.uk accessible

Status: Working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance.

Prepared: 24 July 2026  |  Formal conformance status to be inserted after testing

1. Commitment

Caspian School of Academics Ltd wants as many people as possible to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and to make reasonable adjustments for disabled users in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

Users should be able to zoom without loss of content, navigate most functions using a keyboard, use headings and meaningful link text, and access content with common assistive technologies. An accessibility toolbar may provide preferences, but it does not replace accessible design, code and content.

2. Conformance status

Working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance.

3. Known accessibility issues

The July 2026 public-site review identified issues that should be addressed and then retested, including:

  • duplicate HTML IDs and repeated desktop/mobile navigation markup, which may affect assistive-technology navigation;
  • pages with multiple H1 headings and inconsistent heading hierarchy;
  • potentially unlabelled form controls and forms lacking clear point-of-collection information;
  • partner and content images with unclear or filename-style alternative text;
  • duplicate, empty and erroring pages that create confusing navigation and search results;
  • possible new-window links without clear warning or appropriate security relationship attributes; and
  • third-party widgets, translation controls, embedded media and documents whose accessibility requires separate verification.

For each confirmed failure, the published statement should identify the affected content, explain why it does not meet the relevant WCAG success criterion, describe an accessible alternative and give a target remediation date.

4. Requesting an accessible format or adjustment

If you need information in another format—such as an accessible Word document, tagged PDF, large print, easy read or an alternative to audio/video—email studentservices@caspianschool.ac.uk or call +44 (0) 20 3576 3423. Tell us the page or document, the format you need and how we can contact you. We aim to acknowledge requests within two working days and provide a substantive response within ten working days; complex conversions may take longer, and we will explain the timescale.

5. Reporting a problem

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, contact studentservices@caspianschool.ac.uk. Please include the web address, what you were trying to do, the barrier experienced, and your browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable providing it. Complaints may be raised through CSA’s published complaints procedure. This does not affect any rights under the Equality Act 2010.

6. Technical information

CSA is responsible for the accessibility of caspianschool.ac.uk. Accessibility work should cover content, themes, templates, forms, navigation, documents, videos, embedded tools and third-party components. Procurement and updates should include accessibility requirements and regression testing.
