Quality assurance and the QAA
Our approach to securing academic standards, listening to students and continuously enhancing the learning experience.
Supporting a consistently high-quality academic experience
Caspian School of Academics is committed to upholding the principles and standards set out in the UK Quality Code for Higher Education 2024.
The Quality Code provides an important reference point for securing academic standards, evaluating policy and practice, and enhancing students’ learning opportunities.
Our quality-assurance approach brings together governance, student engagement, external reference points, inclusive practice and continuous review.

These five connected areas support academic assurance, informed decision-making and the ongoing enhancement of learning opportunities.
Robust governance
Strategic oversight and systematic review help maintain academic standards and support responsible decision-making.
Student engagement
Students are active partners in enhancing their education, with feedback contributing to review and decision-making.
External referencing
National frameworks, external examiners and relevant professional bodies help confirm the standards of provision.
Inclusive approach
Equality, diversity and inclusion are embedded to support participation and help every student work towards their potential.
Continuous enhancement
Regular review and internal and external evaluation are used to identify improvements and strengthen the student experience.
A sector-led framework for quality and standards
The current Quality Code sets out 12 Sector-Agreed Principles and supporting Key Practices. It can be used to design, evaluate and enhance a provider’s approach across the student journey.

Student feedback, performance information and internal and external insight inform evaluation.
